Painting Society was formed to provide a regular

Public exhibitions held at major venues including displays of member's work and collections from overseas artists. Some local art works are offered for sale at prices ranging from under $100 to thousands of dollars; Regular general meetings, held every second month, with demonstrations of various techniques by both Australian and Chinese artists. These are attended by members and their friends, with attendances often approaching 100 people; Occasional extra meetings that take advantage of visiting artists and other experts on Oriental art, giving members the opportunity to meet these people and hear them sharing their expertise; Workshops and seminars for members on a wide range of subjects;
