Chinese New Year Festival 2012

29th January, 2012 - SYDNEY

The Australian Chinese Painting Society had a successful event at the Chinese Garden of Friendship on the 29th January for the Chinese New Year Festival 2012.

Seven members of the society painted an estimated 249 Zodiac paintings live and gave them free to the public. The artists, on average, painted a Zodiac painting approximately every 2 1/4 minute.

Joe and Andrew both gave good demonstrations of a dragon and an Australian bush landscape with a dragon in it respectively.

The table compares the number of the zodiac signs painted this year, 2011 and 2010.
