The following Office bearers were elected in the August Annual General Meeting:

Thanks to the Election Officer, Christine Winterbothem, for a very efficiently run election.

Our new  Secretary , Jenny Roxburgh, has been a loyal member since 1997. Jenny will bring to this role with her considerable experience in being the executive committee member in many other   Societies. Welcome to the committee, Jenny.

Official Opening and Award presentation on Friday 18th September at 7pm.
Open daily 10am - 5pm except Thursday 24th 10am - 8pm. Admission is free.

Joint Exhibition

• The joined exhibition between the ACPS and the Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society will take place from October 31st - November 9th, 2009

@ the Chinese Cultural Centre in Chatswood.
Entry Form together with Entry fees and the artworks are to be submitted to Wills Quills on 24th October 10am – 4pm.

• Invitation cards are to  be picked up at the October meeting.

Society’s new letterhead

I hope you have noticed the nice new letterhead shown at the top of this newsletter , which was  designed  by the renown Chinese Calligrapher Liang Xiao Ping. A small pot of flowers, as shown in the photo,  was sent to Xiao Ping to show our appreciations.
