Tribute to Maggie
Over the years, members of our Society have
long admired and greatly appreciated the growth and development of
Maggie's beautiful, unique and award winning flower and bird paintings
on gold paper, an art form that demands great precision of brush work
and imaginative use of colour pigments. Maggie has most generously
shared her knowledge of this "going for gold" art form with
fellow members and we have all learnt a great deal from her.
As the retiring and longest serving treasurer of our society, Maggie
has applied untiringly her professional skills as an accountant to
the sound and unerring financial house keeping of our society, to
which we all owe her a great debt. So, we would all like to say a
big and heart felt thank you to Maggie for her great and continuing
contributions to our society, while we still enjoy with her the conviviality
of her wonderful Yum Cha sessions.
