July 2007
Dear Members
Yet again, we had a big turnout at our last meeting, a big "Thank
You" to Franz Cheung for a very interesting talk and demo about fans
and the history of this artform.
As Chinese Painting and Calligraphy are like "Siamese twins"
we should be aiming for the two societies to work closer together. The
Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society (AOCS) has invited our members
to take part and exhibit at their stall at the Royal Easter Show 2008.
Annual General Meeting
Saturday 4thAugust , 2.30pm at Will's Quills:

As usual "Show and Tell" - please bring your latest creations
Presentation by Sarah Lo, mainly on a large exhibition of contemporary
works by Chinese painter Mr. LO P.S. and a look at the artist colonies
