Volume 16 Issue 4 July 2006

Dear Members,
How wonderful to see so many of you turning up at our last meeting and what a great variety of artworks showed up (including Elsie's "ab-fab" jacket)- isn't it inspiring to see what our members can create?
Franz Cheung, vice president of the Oriental Calligraphy Society, gave us a very interesting demonstration on how to use ink and brush to change the Chinese characters of the 12 Zodiac signs to their art forms. We all appreciate Franz's time and effort very much. Franz teaches Chinese calligraphy and brush painting at Wills Quills, 0415 695568 or chilikc@gmail.com .
